I love my new floors! Cathy was so helpful with helping me select a beautiful Bamboo floor for my house. The flooring I choose is eco friendly, durable and worked within my budget. Ovens & Fireplaces

We are thrilled with our pizza oven. Everything about it is great. Very easy to use and quite an attractive addition to our back yard landscape. It has become the hit of every summer party. We started off with a neighborhood happy hour for about 24 people and made about 10 pizzas. Neighbors are now waiting for winter bread baking season.

Earlier this year we decided to create an outdoor entertaining space. The centerpiece would be a pizza oven. Originally we selected another popular oven brand until our neighbor introduced us to Jim and The Arch. After one conversation with Jim it was obvious Jim's personal knowledge of ovens and his installation experience was exactly what we needed to ensure a successful project. Jim personally prepared the pad, constructed the oven foundation and installed the oven. The original plan was to use a landscaping company and stone mason for the oven enclosure. After seeing what is involved, we are grateful we decided to go with Jim. Our Forno Bravo oven is wonderful but Jim's expertise and personal involvement was essential. He worked hand in hand with our landscaper and stone mason doing anything and everything to make our project a success. Jim far exceeded our expectations. Oh I HIGHLY recommend the Forno. I’m so glad to say The Arch just installed for us! This was my first unsupervised baking and it went super smooth. I have lots to learn (pizza tomorrow!) but the oven is a fire lovers dream. Lit well, held its heat super well. Already dreaming of all the dishes I could turn out with a full day of cooking with fire thank you both for making this an awesome experience!

I had the opportunity to work with Jim and Cathy at The ARCH when ordering my Casa 2G100 40" oven and my Calore 2G105 fireplace. I found that both were very helpful before and after the sale. Cathy and Jim were kind enough to let us play around with some pizzas in their oven, which just confirmed the fact that we wanted to purchase a Forno Bravo from The ARCH. If you can build a camp fire, you can serve restaurant quality food to your friends and family. Because the ovens retain their heat so well, we usually use the "carry over" heat the next day to cook another meal. The oven is so much fun to cook with and we're always looking for new dishes to try in it.

Why should you build a pizza oven? Pizza is not very expensive, if you want you can have it delivered to your home, there are no shortages of toppings......so why go to the effort of building your own pizza oven?

Your pizza oven comes with friends and good times. It is all about community and sharing relationships. We have a big Italian flag and on our street and when the flag is flying you know the oven is fired-up and we all will be having pizza and fun tonight. You can bring your own toppings and try out a new combination of ingredients......but most importantly we are going watch the fire and enjoy each other's company.

My new friends Jim and Cathy at The Arch helped us find the perfect oven and outdoor fireplace to compliment our new addition to our yard. I would highly recommend their company for this fun addition. The next time you are in Blowing Rock and you see the Italian flag is flapping bring some of your favorite pepperoni and let's share a glass of wine.

Jim Erskine is not only a sought after home improvement specialist in the Asheville NC vicinity but he is an Artist with a brush and roller who applied American Clay texture to my home walls and made my house look like a Million! Finishes

I just wanted to take a moment and say thank you! I stopped in a few weeks ago searching for a product to stop the off- gassing of a stain we used on our stairs. You are a life saver! The PolyWhey worked wonderfully and within a few hours the smell of the products had diminished considerably, and now are completely unnoticeable. Overall

Cathy and Jim are great to work with! I have had brought bamboo, tiles and other flooring from them. Everything has turned out great. Jim has also installed stone work on 2 fireplaces and natural lime on the exterior and American Clay on the living room inside. I highly recommend them for high quality flooring and Jim for his stone work and American clay installations.
